I enjoyed reading about Guy Spier’s lunch with Warren Buffett in his book, The Education of a Value Investor. That gave me an idea. What if I could pull off a virtual dinner with this deep-thinking value investor? With a huge thank you to Adam Mead, author of The Complete History of Berkshire Hathaway, that satisfying conversation became a reality. Grab a sandwich and your favorite beverage, and be prepared to learn from this gifted value investor.

The point is not to read serially. And in my case, and again, tell me if I’m wrong. The point is not to read every book in some preordained order. The idea in my case is to surf.

Hi Mark. Great podcast with Guy Spier. Makes me want to read his book again. In that same circle, I am sure you will try and line up William Green and Mohnish Pabrai for future episodes. See if you can get Nick Sleep, that would be amazing. Cheers

Scott, thank you very much.
I’ve read The Dhando Investor twice, and I loved it (both times). Mohnish is on my radar. William Green is a fascinating person. Two of his books are in my queue. I’m not familiar with Nick Sleep, but I just bookmarked a few blog posts about him. Anxious to read/study them.
A world of thanks!!
